Curating GIS Resources / Learning

Asking our members what topics they are interested in would help guide a lot of our work as a committee. There are questions on previous membership surveys that ask similar things, we could refer to those as well. But it would be nice to have a super simple form dedicated to the topic, and collecting information perpetually.

Action Item

See the Learning Survey Questions post. Respond with possible questions and/or feedback. Goal is to have the survey drafted by next meeting.

Once created, we will ask Outreach to help get the link / QR out to folks.

@jcarlson is going to see about getting Dan access to the ILGISA AGOL account for creating the form.

Josh - I think there was a post somewhere about revamping training for members. I could not locate it. Wanted to review before our committee meeting on 12/18. Thanks, -DB

Maybe this: Learning Index - Should We?

A sort of offshoot idea would be that any curated training lists, playlists, link libraries, etc., could be put on the “education” tab of the main ILGISA website, which is currently a bit out of date.
