Please offer questions to appear on the membership “learners survey“. @prof-dev
maybe a single question:

For Clarification: The Professional Development committee is working to craft a survey to be sent to membership that will capture which professional development opportunities are needed. Responses will help guide the committee to provide these opportunities. Please offer questions to be included on the survey. @prof-dev
Rate level of interest?
A thought: maybe it would be easier for us to quantify things if we just threw all sorts of topics and had respondents rate their level of interest? Not sure if the web designer lets you do a table-list grid of single-choice questions, but that’s kind of what I’m thinking.
“How interested would you be in the following topics? 1 = not at all, 5 = extremely interested”
AI: ____
Spatial Python: ____
3D GIS: ____
JavaScript Web Maps: ____
etc.
That way they’re not just picking one topic or being forced to rank things, but we’re also not parsing long strings of text.
Meta Questions
I think we could apply the same principal to other questions that are worth asking.
“How likely are you to use learning materials in the following formats”
Video: ___
Article: ___
Webinar: ___
Workshop: ___
Also somehow ask about the preferred time commitment?
