Is there any interest in having a new channel for special interest groups? maybe one for students, or those interested in open source, or municipal groups, or whatever the community is interested in

At the risk of sounding like an old man. Is there any way we can get an intro to the interface and what we, as users, are allowed to do? I’m used to slack and teams and doomscrolling on reddit (never posting). What is the difference between Tags, Categories, topics, and channels. And why does it seem that I see posts in multiple places? – thanks.

Definitely! It’s not too crazy, but if you’ve never been on a Discourse instance before, it has its own learning curve for sure.
Do you think it makes sense to add it to the Welcome to the ILGISA Forums! 
post, or should there be a more in-depth “how to” post on its own?
