My favorite projection is the Spilhaus Projection - World Map according to Fish.
Waterman Butterfly. I understand it’s nearly useless when it domes to any kind of actual cartography, but I like it because it most closely relates to a cutie skin when I peel it off in one piece. also it was featured in the XKCD Web comic #977.
