Hello All,

I do have a conflict today. However, I will join at the beginning of the meeting so we can trade notes on the Webinar and Virtual Workshop and see if there are any items that need attention for the Annual Conference.

Recap

Webinar

Hosted by Dan, something like 30 attendees. Very well received!

Workshop

Hosted by Burt. Technical issues at the outset, which compressed the content into a smaller time slot. Went well enough, and folks who missed it have reached out, and have been pointed to the post / downloadable materials.

Annual Conference

Call for GeoLounge sponsors is out there, we’ll see if anything comes of it.

No HOLL this year, so we will have extra space to work with!

Last year, Hunter was able to bring a couple of TVs to the Experts Room. Maybe again this year?

Action Items

  • Get the latest submission details. Report back how many workshops / panels are on the agenda as of now.
  • Reach out to possible workshop / panel folks accordingly.

Next Meeting

Josh will be out of town. Let’s push next month’s meeting into early October, so that we can still have a meeting ahead of the annual conference.

Parting Thought

@mgaleher Is the agenda for the Annual kinda-sorta set? Maybe not who presents when and where, but raw numbers, at least? How many workshops and panels do we have lined up?

Hi Josh - yes, the agenda is just about ready. See attached. I’m just waiting on final approval to post it. Note - there are two tabs in the spreadsheet - one is the agenda, and the other is the full list of abstracts with full details.
