Membership survey / AI
@daniel.bartlett did some great work with the membership survey free text responses about webinar and workshop topics folks are interested in.
Dan will look at it more, but folks do seem to be interested in the perennially popular topics: Arcade, Python, etc.
Which brought up a point: it’s becoming more normal for people to use an AI tool to assist them in writing and developing these expressions. The average member who is just getting started with a language is even more likely to use these things.
Something to consider for future topics: not just “how do you write code in X language”, but how do you do that with the assistance of an AI tool? As we consider whom to invite to present workshops and webinars, it’s worth bringing this up. How much of the presentation focuses on this aspect probably depends on the person. But if we want to meet members where they’re at, it ought to be addressed.
