Active, non-student, ILGISA members are encouraged to participate in the election of the 2025-2026 ILGISA Board of Directors and President Elect using this electronic ballot. Members are asked to vote for exactly four Directors and a President Elect. The newly elected Directors will serve one term of two years. The President Elect will automatically become President at the Annual Meeting during the Annual Conference in 2026.
This ballot for Board candidates allows room for write-in candidates. Candidates must be an active member of ILGISA, be employed in the field of GIS, and must be a resident of the State of Illinois or have principal employment in the State of Illinois.
Additionally, the ballot includes a vote on a bylaws revision clarifying the definition of an ILGISA retiree member.
All eligible members of the Illinois GIS Association are encouraged to vote. To be counted, ballots must be submitted no later than 5 PM CST on Monday, October 13th, 2025. Results will be announced at the ILGISA Annual Conference on Tuesday, October 21st, 2025 at the Sheraton Lisle-Naperville Hotel in Lisle, IL.
