Has anyone created accessible PDF maps in ArcGIS Pro and tested it with a screen reader? I am having trouble getting the screen reader to read some of the alt text in the PDF. I have ArcGIS Pro 3.4.5. In the layout, I chose Export Layout > Vector PDF. In the export layout window, I clicked on “Accessibility” at the top. I then checked the box “Include accessibility tags” and then added the PDF metadata information. I next clicked “Export” to create the PDF. I then opened Adobe Acrobat Pro and ran the accessibility check. The check did not find any errors and passed. I used the NVDA screen reader and it found the alt text for the map view and inset map, but not the county seal graphic. It also did not read the title of the map. Any tips and tricks you have would be great. Thanks!
